About Veriswap

Veriswap is a barter marketplace for sports cards. We’re a team of high-performers on a mission to allow collectors to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere. We need your help ensuring smooth functioning across various aspects of our marketplace. If you’re passionate about helping collectors, and want to see your work make a direct impact in tens of thousands of collectors’ lives–we’d love to have you join our mission!

We own and operate 12 Facebook groups across Pokemon and Sports with over 400,000 users. These groups are a cornerstone of our community-driven growth tactic, and we use them to introduce users to Veriswap. While this approach has been successful, we believe there is a significant amount of untapped potential within these communities. Transitioning users from our Facebook groups to our dedicated platform allows us to tap into a targeted community that is already hyper-interested in card trading. Additionally, we are looking someone to grow Veriswap’s presence on social media via our own channels / existing influencer partnerships.

Please note that this is a part-time role starting at 10 hours per week.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Social Media

1. Providing recommendations, improving, and testing Veriswap's current social media content and strategy across Veriswap’s accounts.
2. Providing recommendations, improving, and testing Veriswap's current social media content and strategy with our influencer partner, Geoff Wilson of Sports Card Investor.
3. Transforming long-form video content into short-form formats like IG Reels and YT Shorts
4. Editing reels / graphic design
5. Brainstorming, experimenting with, and implementing strategies to create a viral loop between our Facebook groups and the app. 
6. Managing posting schedule of social media across IG, FB, and TikTok.

Community (nice to have)

1. Schedule 1:1 onboarding meetings with high end card traders through the signup and onboarding process, ensuring profiles are complete and optimized for a successful launch into our Marketplace.
