One of our projects, MeCCAM, aims to develop and implement effective climate mitigation and adaptation solutions that strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the European fisheries sector. By using a collaborative, multi-actor approach, MeCCAM works closely with fishers, industry partners, and policymakers to co-create practical tools and strategies.
A key component of the MeCCAM project are six case studies across Europe, each which are working on different innovative technological solutions to promote and more climate-resilient fisheries. We are looking for a motivated and creative Working Student to support MeCCAM and other similar projects by producing high-quality video content showcasing our case studies.
TASKS- Plan, shoot, edit, and produce six short videos for each MeCCAM case study, including travelling for on-site filming.
- Film professional interviews with project partners and stakeholders for MeCCAM and other projects
- Capture compelling nature footage from multiple angles and perspectives
- Manage the full production workflow from concept to final delivery
- Create engaging short videos from existing and stock footage for a variety of projects
- Ensure high production quality aligned with project communication goals, communicating effectively with external and internal project managers.
sPro - sustainable-projects is a consultancy specialized in the coordination of transnational projects, mostly funded by the European Commission. Our topical focus lies in projects dealing with the sustainable use of the sea. We run the permanent secretariat of the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth and act as coordinators of the EU Mission Ocean in the Baltic and North Sea. SUBMARINER is the cooperation platform for actors/initiatives across the Baltic Sea Region and beyond who promote innovative and sustainable uses of marine resources.
We have a long-term portfolio of over 30 large-scale projects and operate with an extensive network of trusted cooperation partners from all European countries, encompassing research, industry, business development, NGOs, and the public sector. We currently have 40 employees coming from a wide range of different academic backgrounds with more than 15 different nationalities.
