About the Role

We are a US-based company seeking to hire a Programs & Content Coordinator to support our client's day-to-day execution of our webinars, podcast series, and entrepreneur showcases.

This is a hands-on coordination role, not a technical or IT project management position. It’s best suited for someone with experience in program coordination, communications, content operations, or virtual support.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and execute recurring programs (webinars, podcasts, showcases)
  • Identify and communicate with guest speakers and entrepreneurs
  • Manage scheduling, follow-ups, and email communication
  • Set up and run webinars using tools like Zoom
  • Support podcast coordination (guest onboarding, scheduling, materials)
  • Collaborate with internal team using Trello or similar tools
  • Assist with program content (titles, talking points, basic scripts)
  • Share materials for newsletters and program promotions

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years experience in roles such as:
    • Program/Project Coordinator
    • Communications or Marketing Associate
    • Community Manager
    • Experienced Virtual Assistant (mid-level, not entry-level)
  • Strong written communication (email-heavy role)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating events, webinars, or online programs
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and following through

🚫 Not a Fit If You Are

  • A technical Project/Program Manager (Agile, Scrum, IT-focused)
  • An entry-level Virtual Assistant with less than 2–3 years experience
  • Looking for a senior strategic or leadership role

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting webinars, podcasts, or newsletters
  • Background in NGOs, startups, or mission-driven organizations
  • Interest in women entrepreneurship and global business

Work Details

  • Part-time: ~20 hours/month
  • Remote (Africa-based candidates only)
